Heading up Familia’s April instalment, Paul Ritch returns for a Quartz Records showcase with a host of talent who remain integral to the long-running imprint.
Since Paul launched Quartz Records back in 2008, the label has acted as a flourishing platform to release Paul’s own high-quality productions and has supported a plethora of up-and-coming artists along the way. Known for following a heavy tour schedule and playing extended sets in renowned institutions worldwide, Paul brings two new faces from his imprint to show what Quartz is all about for something a little different on his agenda.
Part of the new talent shaping the label, Cardao joins Paul after dropping his huge Thunderstorm EP which is due to be released on 4th April on Quartz. Having already received solid support from the likes of Adam Beyer, Len Faki and Chris Liebing amongst others, there’s no doubt that the young Portuguese selector can produce a powerful sound within the techno scope.
Another Parisian, Kmyle, completes the bill for a debut live set at the club. Using music as a medium to express feelings from fear to joy, the promising producer will bring an emotive aesthetic to the showcase, displayed through various forms of hardware and self-produced sound on the spot.
As usual, Familia residents Fabio Ferro and Miky J head up the Basement to represent the core Familia family all night.
